Saudi Arabia's Khadem al‑Haramain Pilgrimage Program Receives Praise from Asian Participants
The first batch of the Khadem al‑Haramain program, launched by King Salman and overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, hosted 250 pilgrims from 16 Asian nations. Participants praised the warm reception, comprehensive services and organized facilities provided by Saudi authorities in Medina and Mecca.
Visitors highlighted the hospitality of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting that the program strengthens Islamic bonds and showcases Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving Muslims worldwide. Specific remarks included Abdul Qader Hussein from Cambodia expressing deep gratitude, Professor Sudar Rotab Abdul Hakim from Indonesia emphasizing the program’s role in reinforcing spiritual ties, and Luqman Yusuf, also from Cambodia, commending the safety and comfort of the arrangements.
