Saudi Aramco and Sonatrach raise September LPG prices

Saudi Aramco and Algeria’s Sonatrach have announced increases in their official selling prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for September. The price adjustments are attributed to strengthening demand in global markets.

Saudi Aramco raised its September LPG prices by between 1% and 3%. Specifically, the company increased its propane price by $5 per metric ton to $625 per ton and its butane price by $20 per ton to $660 per ton.

Sonatrach implemented larger percentage increases, raising prices by between 4% and 7%. The Algerian state-owned company increased its propane price by $20 per ton to $560 per ton and its butane price by $40 per ton to $610 per ton.
