Saudi esports clubs target defense of World Club title at Paris 2026

Saudi esports organizations have been prominent contenders since the inaugural World Esports Cup in 2024, when the Falcons secured the first club championship and repeated the feat in 2025. The third edition of the tournament will be staged in Paris, France, and runs through 23 August 2026.

For the upcoming season, the Falcons lead the field with qualification slots in 18 events, positioning them as the favorites to retain the title. Twisted Minds, another fast‑growing Saudi club, qualified for nine events after winning PUBG Battle Grounds and Call of Duty Warzone in 2025. Their challenge comes from strong European rivals such as France’s Vitality (17 events) and Liquid (seven events), which also field deep, multi‑game rosters. The continued investment in talent and multi‑title strength underpins Saudi Arabia’s growing presence in global esports.
