Saudi Interior Minister inaugurates new command and cybersecurity centers
Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz has inaugurated several advanced security systems during a visit to the Facilities Security Forces command in Riyadh.
The new command and control center features seven specialized units connected to 13 regional command centers across the Kingdom. This integrated system utilizes advanced electronic platforms to manage field operations, receive reports, and exchange security information in coordination with the National Security Operations Center.
As part of the technological upgrade, the center will utilize drones equipped with artificial intelligence to enhance field surveillance and operational efficiency. Additionally, a new cybersecurity center has been launched to protect data, secure networks, and monitor systems for vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
To support digital transformation, the Minister also launched electronic services for Facilities Security Forces personnel via the ‘Absher Interior’ application. This system integrates various platforms, including the ‘Mawarid’ system, with the Absher and National Single Sign-On platforms to streamline administrative procedures.
