Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs launches digital mosque management system
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in partnership with Zain Saudi Arabia, has launched an electronic system for mosque affairs. The announcement was made during the LEAP 2026 conference and exhibition in Riyadh.
The new digital system is designed to manage 85,980 mosques across various regions of Saudi Arabia, serving more than 96,000 employees. It provides integrated digital services, including asset management, Friday sermon coordination, personnel management, field visits, and maintenance work, supported by intelligent data analysis and reporting systems.
According to Engineer Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, Deputy Minister for Planning and Digital Transformation, the partnership aims to improve service quality and operational efficiency in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The system has already facilitated over 3.6 million field visits through a network of more than 5,300 supervisors and monitors.
