Saudi National Center for Mental Health Promotion leads 2026 national campaign

The National Center for Mental Health Promotion is leading the 2026 national campaign for World Mental Health Day, held on October 10. Under the slogan “Lived Experiences are Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” the initiative involves various public and private sectors to enhance mental health awareness and well-being.

The campaign focuses on establishing mental health as a fundamental component of overall human health and quality of life. Key objectives include promoting prevention, encouraging early detection of psychological and behavioral changes, and promoting timely professional help while reducing the social stigma associated with mental health.

By highlighting lived experiences, the campaign aims to use personal insights to improve mental health services and care pathways, ranging from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation. The initiative also seeks to make services more accessible through integrated digital and in-person healthcare channels, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
