Saudi Pro League: Al Nassr and Al Ittihad secure dramatic victories

The Saudi Pro League continues with high-scoring matches and significant individual performances. Al Nassr secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Al Ettifaq, overcoming a two-goal deficit and playing with ten men since goalkeeper Bento was sent off in the 13th minute. Sadio Mane scored twice to seal the win.

Al Ittihad also achieved a notable victory, defeating Al Hazm 3-2. Dutch winger Steven Bergwijn led the team with a hat-trick, including two penalties, helping Al Ittihad temporarily move to the top of the league standings.

In another matchup, Al Qadsiah defeated Neom 2-0. Tijjani Reijnders, who recently joined from Manchester City in a high-profile transfer, scored his first goal for the club. Meanwhile, Al Riyadh and Al Shabab played to a 3-3 draw, featuring a goal and an assist from Mahmoud Trezeguet.

Off the pitch, preparations are entering the final 30-day countdown for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, which is scheduled to be hosted in Jeddah in late 2026.
