Al-Ittihad defeats Al-Nassr 2-1 in Saudi Pro League clash

Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Nassr 2-1 in a Saudi Pro League Matchday 5 clash at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. George Ilenikhena was the standout performer for Al-Ittihad, scoring both goals in the first half, in the 4th and 22nd minutes.

Al-Nassr managed to reduce the deficit in the 36th minute through a goal by Angelo Gabriel, following an assist from Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite intense pressure from Al-Nassr in the second half, Al-Ittihad's defense and goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic held on to secure the victory.

The loss marks the first defeat for Al-Nassr this season, leaving them in second place with 12 points. Al-Ittihad moves up to fourth place in the standings with 11 points, keeping their unbeaten streak intact.
