Saudi Pro League: Al Riyadh defeats Al Kholood as Al Fateh faces pressure

In the Saudi Pro League, Al Riyadh secured their second victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Al Kholood. Despite Al Kholood dominating possession and creating several opportunities during the first half, Al Riyadh capitalized on quick counter-attacks in the second half to secure the win. The result moves Al Riyadh to 11th place in the standings with eight points.

Meanwhile, Al Fateh coach Khaled Al-Atwi has addressed growing pressure following a 4-2 defeat against Neom. Despite the loss, Al-Atwi expressed confidence in his ability to correct the team's course, describing the current period as a transitional building phase. He also noted that individual errors and refereeing decisions have impacted recent results. As the only Saudi national coaching a club in the Roshen League this season, Al-Atwi's performance is seen as a significant test for local coaching talent.
