Al Hilal regains Saudi Pro League lead after Martinelli late goal

Al Hilal has reclaimed the top spot in the Saudi Pro League following a 1-0 victory over Al Hazem at the Kingdom Arena. The decisive goal was scored by Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli in the 89th minute of the match.

Despite Al Hilal's dominance throughout the game, Al Hazem's defense and goalkeeper Jendrič Stanik provided significant resistance. Al Hilal had several opportunities to score earlier, including a shot by Martinelli that hit the crossbar and a goal by Ollie Watkins that was subsequently disallowed by VAR for offside.

With this win, Al Hilal reaches 24 points from nine matches, moving two points ahead of Al Qadsiah in the standings. Martinelli's performance continues a strong run, marking his fifth goal in his last five appearances. Al Hilal is scheduled to face Al Qadsiah in a direct battle for leadership in their next match.
