Saudi Sadafco posts Q2 profit rise; SABIC narrows loss

Saudi Dairy & Food Company (Sadafco) reported second‑quarter 2026 revenue of 750 million SAR, up 1.7% from the prior quarter, and a net profit of 88 million SAR, a 7.6% increase. Adjusted for its Polish subsidiary, revenue rose 6.9% year‑on‑year to 688 million SAR. The company cited higher sales volumes, an improved product mix and stronger e‑commerce channels while noting higher raw‑material and fuel costs.

Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) announced a 79.6% reduction in its quarterly net loss to 833 million SAR despite a 17.9% decline in revenue, which fell to 24.81 billion SAR. The loss narrowing was attributed to lower non‑recurring expenses, better performance of joint‑venture partners and a 380 million SAR drop in financing costs. However, operating margins remained pressured, with gross profit down 1.87 billion SAR.
