Saudi Tourism Authority promotes Red Sea as luxury yacht destination
The Saudi Tourism Authority is participating in the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 to promote the Red Sea as a premier global destination for luxury yacht tourism. The showcase highlights the extensive 1,800-kilometer coastline, featuring over 90 natural islands, warm year-round waters, and diverse marine activities spanning from Jeddah to the Red Sea Project and Amaala.
To support this sector, Saudi Arabia is expanding its maritime infrastructure. The Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina currently offers 94 berths for yachts up to 120 meters in length. Starting in the 2026 winter season, private and chartered yachts will have access to 278 marinas across Shura and Amaala through a unified mooring contract.
Furthering its maritime ambitions, Saudi Arabia is scheduled to host the Red Sea Yacht Show at the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina from October 14 to 17, 2027. This event aims to bring together yacht owners, manufacturers, designers, and luxury brands to showcase the kingdom's growing marine tourism ecosystem.
