Saudi youth football teams secure victories in international tournaments

The Saudi Arabian U-15 national team achieved two significant victories during the World Cup Festival in Azerbaijan. In their second and third group stage matches, the team defeated the Central African Republic 1-0, with Mohannad Al-Muwallad scoring the decisive goal in the 8th minute. They followed this with a 4-0 win over the Solomon Islands, featuring two goals each from Ahmed Abu Sultan and Ali Al-Qahtani.

In a separate competition, the Saudi Arabian U-17 national team secured a 2-0 victory against Kuwait in the 2026 Gulf Cup. Abdulaziz Al-Nahid scored both goals for the Saudi side, finding the net in the 14th and 58th minutes. This win places the team in a strong position within Group B, which also includes Iraq, Yemen, and Egypt.
