Saudia Airlines held a Hajj Appreciation 2026 ceremony in Jakarta on 9 July 2026, thanking the Indonesian government, airport authorities and strategic partners for a safe and smooth pilgrimage season. The airline carried around 101,860 Indonesian pilgrims on the 1447 Hijri/2026 Hajj via six embarkation points – Jakarta‑Pondok Gede, Bekasi, Batam, Palembang, Kertajati and Surabaya – to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina, and organised their return to Indonesia. The first flight of the season departed Soekarno‑Hatta Airport on 22 April 2026 at 07:00 WIB. The event underscored the strong Saudi‑Indonesian collaboration in managing the annual pilgrimage.
