Saurav Gurjar arrested over alleged sexual exploitation

Saurav Gurjar, an actor known for his role as Bheem in the 'Mahabharat' series and a former WWE wrestler (competing as Sanga), has been arrested following allegations of sexual exploitation. The arrest occurred at Mumbai airport after authorities intercepted him upon his arrival from the Middle East, acting on a Look Out Circular issued by the Gachibowli police in Hyderabad.

A 29-year-old woman filed a complaint alleging that Gurjar misled her with repeated promises of marriage and the intention to start a joint business. She claimed that based on these assurances, she left her employment in the United States to return to India. The complainant further alleged that Gurjar disclosed he was already married, subjected her to mental and physical harassment, and would block her communication whenever marriage was discussed.

Gurjar has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. The allegations, which include sexual intercourse through deceitful means under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, remain under investigation and have not been established in court.
