Sava River discovery: Potential human remains found near Brčko bridge

Fishermen have discovered bones near the Sava River in the coastal area close to the Brčko – Gunja bridge that appear to be human.

Emir Mrkaljević, deputy chief of the Brčko District Police, confirmed the discovery and stated that police have secured the site following the report. The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Brčko District Prosecutor's Office have been notified of the incident. Authorities have not yet confirmed if the remains are indeed human, noting that forensic experts must conduct an analysis to determine the true nature of the bones.
