Savannah, Georgia hosts various Halloween celebrations

Savannah, Georgia, is hosting a variety of seasonal activities for Halloween 2026. The City of Savannah’s Recreation and Leisure Services department will hold a Trunk-or-Treat and ‘Howl-o-Ween’ on October 23. The main event at Grayson Stadium includes a haunted house, face painting, a live DJ, and a costume contest, while a pet-focused celebration will take place at Daffin Dog Park.

On October 24, River Street will host a free trick-or-treat event featuring more than 30 waterfront merchants.

Reflecting the city's reputation for supernatural folklore, several themed tours are also scheduled. Bonaventure Cemetery is offering ghost tours from October 30 to November 1. Additionally, Ghosts & Gravestones provides theatrical trolley rides through historic squares and cemeteries, and the Sorrel-Weed Museum is hosting historical ghost tours.
