Save the Children and Ferrero host sports day in Naples

Save the Children and Ferrero’s ‘Kinder Joy of moving’ project organized a day of culture and sports for 40 children from the Punto Luce center in Chiaiano, Naples.

The program included a morning visit to Città della Scienza, featuring the planetarium and an interactive human body museum, followed by an afternoon tennis experience at the Napoli Tennis Center. The tennis session was led by Italian champion and commentator Rita Grande, alongside technicians from the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, utilizing a play-based approach.

The ‘Joy of moving’ method, developed in collaboration with the University of Rome ‘Foro Italico’, CONI, and the MIM, is designed to support motor, cognitive, emotional, and relational development in primary school children. This initiative is part of Ferrero’s international social responsibility project aimed at promoting inclusion through various sports, including tennis, cycling, and sailing.
