SaveFamily launches GDPR‑compliant GPS smartwatches for children in Germany
Spanish wearable maker SaveFamily is entering the German market with two lines of GPS‑enabled smartwatches for children. The devices, aimed at ages 4‑8 (Iconic Plus 2) and 9+ (SaveWatch Plus 2), cost from €139 and include phone calls, WhatsApp, SOS alerts and location tracking within defined safety zones. SaveFamily emphasizes GDPR compliance, European‑based servers and a privacy‑focused design that avoids a full smartphone experience.
CEO Jorge Álvarez described Germany as a strategically important market. The company, founded in 2018 and backed by ABE Capital, reported €11.5 million revenue for 2025, a 21 % increase, and operates in 43 countries. Sales will be handled through a dedicated German online store and major marketplaces such as Amazon.
