Savers Value Village stock drops amid major share offerings

Savers Value Village stock experienced a significant decline this week following the announcement of a large secondary stock offering. Affiliates of the company’s majority stockholder, Ares Management, moved to sell 20 million shares at $10.25 per share, an amount that was later upsized from an initial 15 million shares. The offering included an option for underwriters to sell an additional 3 million shares. Savers Value Village stated it would receive no proceeds from this sale, as it was not part of the selling syndicate.
