Savigliano launches youth citizenship program “Savigliano I Care” in July

The municipality of Savigliano has opened registrations for “Savigliano I Care”, a youth‑focused active‑citizenship project running from 29 June to mid‑July. The initiative, part of the Luogo Comune programme and funded by the Fondazione CRC through the Bando Spazio Giovani, targets students from the third year of middle school onward. Activities take place Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.‑12 p.m., with a communal lunch provided. Qualified educators from the social cooperative Motiva lead the sessions, and participants receive vouchers redeemable at selected local businesses.

Assessor for youth policies Filippo Mulassano said, “Summer gives adolescents more free time, so we thought it important to offer them, for the third consecutive year, an opportunity to engage with the city and experience active citizenship.” The program aims to encourage local involvement and foster a sense of community among young residents.
