Savignano sul Rubicone opens new nursery section with PNRR funding
A new nursery section has opened at the Gallo Cristallo-Togliatti kindergarten in Savignano sul Rubicone. The project, part of the ‘Nido di quartiere’ initiative, was funded by 420,000 euros from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and 30,000 euros from the municipality.
The renovation included upgrading systems, installing a mechanical ventilation system, repairing the roof, and using environmentally low-impact materials. The facility now accommodates 21 children aged 0-3 and features an independent entrance and a dedicated garden area.
This expansion is part of a broader effort to increase childcare availability in the city. Combined with other recent openings and existing facilities, the total number of available nursery places for local families is expected to rise to 150.
