Tottenham Hotspur near £65m signing of Brazilian winger Savinho

Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced talks with Manchester City to acquire 22‑year‑old Brazilian winger Savinho. Reports from multiple outlets indicate the North London club has agreed personal terms and is prepared to pay between £60 million and £68 million for the player. Journalist Fabrizio Romano said a “green light” will be given only after City secure a replacement. The deal would see Savinho leave the Etihad after limited first‑team opportunities, having made 48 appearances for City with three goals and 13 assists. Under FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, Savinho’s former club Atlético‑MG in Brazil is set to receive about R$ 7.6 million from the transfer. The move would give Tottenham a high‑potential winger to complement Mathys Tel, Mohammed Kudus and Wilson Odobert, addressing a gap highlighted after injuries to existing wide players. The transfer is expected to be finalised before the start of the next Premier League season.
