Savona hosts Edu Open Day for local schools

The Diocese of Savona-Noli is hosting the second edition of ‘Edu Open Day’ on September 23 at the Cathedral Complex and Sistine Chapel. This workshop is designed to connect the Museum Network of the Savona province with local schools, teachers, and educators.

The event includes the ‘Meet the Museum’ initiative at the Franciscan Cloister, allowing educators to discuss specific educational proposals and tailor solutions to school needs. The program also features a talk titled ‘Learning from Places – School, museums and territory in dialogue,’ involving representatives from the Agostino De Mari Foundation and ICOM Liguria.

Organizers stated that the initiative aims to strengthen the relationship between museum institutions and schools, fostering awareness of the region's rich historical, artistic, and cultural heritage among young people.
