Savooifeesten to host Oktoberfest at Brouwerij Slaghmuylder

The Savooifeesten organization will host an Oktoberfest event at Brouwerij Slaghmuylder in Ninove on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The festival, running from 12:00 to 21:00, aims to bring the Bavarian tradition to the brewery through a festive atmosphere featuring long communal tables, traditional blue-and-white decor, and food such as roasted chicken with fries.

Musical performances will include groups such as the G-Bloezers and the Soutiens. To encourage participation in the theme, visitors wearing traditional Oktoberfest attire, such as lederhosen or dirndls, will receive a free half-liter of beer. Lawrence Sergeant, chairman of the Savooifeesten, stated that the goal is to bring people together for an afternoon of music, food, and amusement.
