Sławomir Mentzen lacks public support for premiership, poll shows
A new poll conducted by United Surveys for Wirtualna Polska indicates that a majority of Poles do not envision Sławomir Mentzen, leader of the Confederation party, as the Prime Minister.
According to the data, 74.5 percent of respondents stated they do not see Mentzen in the role of head of government. This includes 45 percent who are "definitely" against the idea and 29.5 percent who responded "rather no." Only 21.5 percent of those surveyed support the prospect of Mentzen becoming Prime Minister.
The survey highlights significant polarization, particularly among different voting blocs. Among supporters of the current governing coalition, opposition to Mentzen as Prime Minister reached 92 percent. Within the opposition electorate, 66 percent responded negatively, while 32 percent responded positively. Among Confederation voters, the results were also less favorable for the leader than might be expected, with 68 percent against the idea and 22 percent in favor.
