SB C&S launches GLIDiC AI +u Buds with AI coaching features

SB C&S has launched the GLIDiC AI +u Buds, a new generation of AI-powered wireless earbuds designed to support professional growth and meeting efficiency. Priced at 29,800 yen, the device offers high-precision transcription and summarization of recorded audio via a dedicated app.

The earbuds feature two distinct AI modes: ‘Coach Mode,’ which provides logical advice on organizing discussion points and creating action plans, and ‘Buddy Mode,’ which offers emotional and interpersonal support to improve communication styles. The system uses voiceprint registration to recognize the user and provides personalized advice by analyzing changes in speech patterns over time.

Recording can be performed in three ways: via the earbuds themselves, as a standalone slim recorder, or through a smartphone app. The device includes features such as ‘Ask AI’ for problem-solving and ‘Talk AI’ for voice-based task management. For security, data is managed within Japan and all transmissions are encrypted. While basic transcription is free, premium subscription plans are available for extended usage and advanced features.
