SB19's Global Breakthrough with Lollapalooza Debut and New Single 'LAWLESS
Filipino pop group SB19 made history as the first homegrown act to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago, taking the Allianz Stage on July 30. Their set included a tribute to late rap icon Francis Magalona with a preview of "Mga Kababayan," as well as their own hits such as "DAM," "GENTO," "LAWLESS," "Emoji," "MAPA," and "Wakas." Following the performance, a Senate resolution was filed to honor the group for the milestone.
On the same day SB19 released the single "LAWLESS," a genre‑bending track that blends hip‑hop swagger with pop, surf‑rock and Western influences. The song and its accompanying video, produced by Sony Music Entertainment, emphasize creative independence and a rebellious outlaw image. The release marks the group’s push toward a global musical identity, and they are slated to appear at Summer Sonic 2026 in Osaka and Tokyo later this month.
