SBS appoints Kathryn Fink as Chief Content Officer
SBS has announced an executive restructure, appointing Kathryn Fink as Chief Content Officer. In this expanded role, Fink will oversee television, online content, sport, National Indigenous Television (NITV), audio, language content, digital, marketing, and audiences.
The restructuring aims to integrate content planning across broadcast and digital services, specifically to support the growth of SBS On Demand. Matthew Hancock has been promoted to Director of Digital and joins the executive team, reporting to Fink. Additionally, Stig Bell has been named Chief People Officer. These appointments are effective immediately.
Fink joined SBS in July 2022 and previously held senior positions at The Walt Disney Company, Sky Italia, and News Corp. Her recent work at SBS includes overseeing coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the launch of the original series Alone Australia.
