SBT News hires journalist Túlio Amâncio as political analyst

SBT News has announced the hiring of journalist Túlio Amâncio as a political analyst and commentator based in Brasília. Amâncio will focus on analyzing national political developments and covering the inner workings of the federal capital.

Amâncio brings extensive experience to the role, having previously worked for major media outlets including Grupo Globo, Grupo Bandeirantes, and Jovem Pan. His career includes international coverage of events such as COP summits, Mercosul summits, and BRICS summits across three continents. He began his journalism career in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, working for TV Paranaíba, a Record affiliate.

His recent tenure at Grupo Globo involved political coverage in Brasília before his departure. Amâncio is expected to debut on SBT News following the September 7 holiday.
