SBT revives hit telenovela “O Que a Vida Me Roubou” for 45th anniversary
Brazilian broadcaster SBT is marking its 45‑year milestone by bringing back the Mexican‑origin telenovela “O Que a Vida Me Roubou” on August 3 at 16:45. The series will occupy the network’s “Sortilégio” slot and will air in a double‑episode format during the first days of its return.
The drama stars Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli, who began dating while filming the show and remain a couple off‑screen. First aired in 2017, the programme was a ratings success on SBT. Set in the fictional town of Água Azul, it follows Montserrat (Boyer), pressed by her mother Graciela to marry Alessandro (Rulli) to resolve family debts, while she is secretly involved with José Luis.
The revival coincides with SBT’s celebratory programming for its 45th anniversary, highlighting the network’s long‑standing popularity of the series.
