SBT seeks new direction following the absence of Silvio Santos

SBT is reportedly finding a new direction following the absence of its founder, Silvio Santos, for over two years. After an initial period of errors, the network is seeing more consistent work aimed at improving its competitiveness.

Daniela Beyruti has assembled an executive team intended to organize operations and increase results. This transition marks a shift toward a more structured management style as the network moves past the era of Silvio Santos's direct decision-making.

Regarding the company's assets, the Jequiti operation was transferred to Espírito Santo in 2025 to optimize distribution. Consequently, the large 300,000-square-meter complex in Osasco remains closed. While there is speculation regarding the sale of Jequiti, the Grupo Silvio Santos heirs reportedly intend to keep the property and only offer it for rent.
