SBT to Premiere Mexican Telenovela “Amor Valente” on August 19

Brazilian network SBT announced that it will launch the Mexican telenovela "Amor Valente" on its prime‑time schedule beginning 19 August at 20:45. The series is a remake of Televisa’s 2012 production "Amor Bravío" and will be broadcast in a double‑hour slot together with the historical drama "A História de Joana – A Virgem".

The drama follows Camila Monterde, who loses her fiancé in a car accident and seeks refuge on her uncle Don Daniel’s ranch. She becomes entangled in a web of ambition, betrayal and inheritance disputes as conspiracies target the family’s property. The main cast includes Silvia Navarro as Camila Monterde and Cristián de la Fuente as Daniel Díaz Acosta, alongside a supporting ensemble of Mexican actors. SBT positioned the series as a key addition to its evening drama lineup, aiming to attract viewers who favor classic soap‑opera storylines of romance, revenge and family intrigue.
