SBY Art Community hosts peace-themed exhibition in Jakarta

The SBY Art Community (SAC) is hosting the “Art for Peace and a Better Future: Collaboration” exhibition at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) in Jakarta. Running until August 30, 2026, the exhibition was initiated by the community’s founder, Indonesia’s 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, to address global peace concerns through collaborative works.

Participating artists include Koelo Maryam, Guntur Wibowo, and La Ode Umar Arsuria. A recent Artist Talk explored the intersection of art and technology, specifically how artificial intelligence (AI) can be utilized as a tool to explore creative ideas and visual possibilities. The exhibition is free to the public and features works from artists across various Indonesian cities, including Jakarta, Bandung, Solo, and Yogyakarta.
