ADO Den Haag suffers defeat against PEC Zwolle

ADO Den Haag lost 1-0 to PEC Zwolle in an Eredivisie match, leaving the club in seventeenth place with only six points after eleven matches. Dylan Mbayo scored the decisive goal for PEC Zwolle in the 45th minute. An earlier goal by ADO Den Haag player Evan Rottier was disallowed due to offside.

Following the match, ADO Den Haag trainer Robin Peter described the performance as “unacceptable” in all facets, noting a lack of intensity and defensive structure. He stated, “We must change a lot, because if we play like this, we are hopeless.” Defender Milan Hokke also criticized the team's attitude, alleging that some players appeared “a bit lighthearted” about the club's precarious position.

This loss follows a recent cup exit against Excelsior'31, further complicating ADO Den Haag's struggle to avoid the relegation zone.
