SC Freiburg coach Julian Schuster praised by former president

Former SC Freiburg president Fritz Keller has expressed strong confidence in current head coach Julian Schuster, suggesting he could define an era for the club similar to his predecessor, Christian Streich.

Schuster, who took over from Streich in the summer of 2024, is approaching his 100th competitive match as the club's coach. Keller praised Schuster’s intelligence, meticulous preparation, and charismatic leadership style, noting that his talent for coaching was evident early in his career.

Under Schuster's leadership, SC Freiburg has maintained strong performance, currently sitting at the top of the Bundesliga table after five matchdays. Keller emphasized the importance of patience as the team continues its development.
