sc Heerenveen staff discuss goalkeeper competition and coaching transitions

Agil Etemadi, the goalkeeper trainer for sc Heerenveen, has discussed the competition between Andries Noppert and Bernt Klaverboer. Etemadi noted that he and trainer Robin Veldman had to inform Noppert last season that he had lost his starting position to the younger Klaverboer.

Regarding Klaverboer, Etemadi highlighted the player's maturity and athletic development, though he remained cautious about setting specific expectations for the young talent's ceiling.

Separately, Erwin Heerlijn has transitioned from a seventeen-year career in education to full-time football coaching. Since last summer, the Delfzijl native has been working as a trainer for Jong sc Heerenveen, citing a passion for the game and a desire to work with people as his primary motivations.
