SC Magdeburg handballers to support breast cancer awareness

SC Magdeburg handball coach Bennet Wiegert announced that the team will participate in a special awareness campaign during their final Champions League group stage match against HC Kriens-Luzern.

To support the ‘Pay pink, fight back’ initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the players will wear specially designed pink jackets. Wiegert emphasized that despite the match having no further sporting significance for the team, the players will maintain full focus to honor the competition, the opponents, and their fans.

Wiegert also expressed support for the local football club, 1. FC Magdeburg, ahead of their upcoming match against FC Bayern Munich.
