SC Paderborn conducts international promotional tour in the USA

German football club SC Paderborn recently completed an international tour of the United States, acting as ambassadors for the Bundesliga. During the trip, the newly promoted side secured a 1–0 friendly victory against Major League Soccer club D.C. United in Washington, D.C.

Beyond athletic competition, the delegation engaged in institutional visits to the University of Maryland, the United States Capitol, and the White House. Club President Thomas Sagel noted that the tour successfully increased the club’s digital engagement and social media reach without overextending its operational capacity. Sport Director Sebastian Lange described the experience as overwhelming, highlighting the club's efforts to build global brand awareness beyond its traditional German markets.
