SCA-cupen hockey tournament to award 50,000 SEK to charity

The SCA-cupen hockey tournament in Sundsvall is incorporating charitable donations into its competition for the third consecutive year. The winning team, in partnership with Bonnier News, will donate 50,000 SEK to a charity of their choice.

Participating clubs have selected different causes for the potential donation:

• Brynäs IF has chosen the Börje Salming ALS Foundation to honor the club legend. • Sundsvall Hockey has selected Missing People Västernorrland. • Timrå IK will donate to Lekterapin Sundsvall, supporting children in hospitals. • Modo Hockey has selected Icebreakers.

The tournament schedule includes matches between Brynäs IF and Modo Hockey on August 13, and Sundsvall Hockey against Timrå IK on August 14, with the final taking place on August 15.
