Scalable Capital and Vanguard introduce low-cost investment options
Scalable Capital has launched a fee-free retirement savings depot designed for self-directed investors. The service features a ‘Scalable Rentenbonus’, which automatically credits and reinvests the Total Expense Ratio (TER) for selected ETFs from providers including Scalable Capital, BlackRock, DWS, and Vanguard. This mechanism aims to reduce long-term costs for private investors during the wealth accumulation phase.
In a related development in the ETF market, Vanguard has introduced a Global All-Cap ETF with a highly competitive annual total expense ratio of 0.07 percent. The Vanguard FTSE Global All-Cap UCITS ETF covers approximately 98 percent of the global investable equity market capitalization, including large, mid, and small-cap companies. While the fund saw rapid asset growth following its launch, analysts note that low costs do not inherently guarantee superior returns or risk management.
