Scalea hosts theatrical debut of “5. Atto unico d’amore”

The Italian town of Scalea will stage the theatrical piece “5. Atto unico d’amore” on 26 August 2024. The production, written by Marco Corsi and actress Barbara Bricca, dramatises legendary love stories such as Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, and Coco Chanel with Boy Capel, centring on the symbolism of Chanel No 5.

A press conference with the cast is scheduled for 8 August at 19:00, sponsored by the Scalea municipality’s cultural department and presented as part of the “Visioni d’Autore” project led by Annalisa Alfano. The performance will take place in the historic Villa Giordanelli and the Palazzo dei Principi, venues highlighted for their cultural significance. Barbara Bricca expressed gratitude, saying she is “entusiasta piena di gratitudine” for the opportunity to bring the work to Scalea’s audience.
