Scality and OVHcloud unveil sovereign AI cloud storage platform for Europe

Scality, a global data‑infrastructure software provider, and OVHcloud, the European cloud leader, announced an expanded partnership to launch a joint storage platform aimed at reinforcing European digital sovereignty. The solution offers organizations full control over sensitive data without reliance on U.S. hyperscalers, combining high‑performance S3‑compatible object storage with OVHcloud’s On‑Prem Cloud Platform (OPCP) for on‑premises or dedicated sovereign‑cloud deployments.

The offering supports demanding AI workloads, providing GPU‑direct compatibility, multi‑availability‑zone backup replication, and integration with cyber‑resilience tools such as Veeam and CommVault.
