Scalp care and protective hairstyles focus on hair health

Protective hairstyles, such as knotless braids, twists, locs, and wigs, are widely used to reduce daily hair manipulation and heat exposure. While these styles offer versatility and aesthetic variety, they can present challenges for scalp maintenance. Issues such as dryness, itching, and visible flaking often occur between wash days, and traditional scalp products may be difficult to apply precisely between braids or extensions.

To address these needs, the brand Sabi Wise launched a specialized scalp care product called the Unflake Wand. This leave-in treatment utilizes a roll-on applicator designed to reach the scalp without disrupting styled hair. The formula includes salicylic acid and niacinamide to manage flakes and support scalp comfort. The brand has seen significant consumer interest through social media since its launch less than six months ago.
