Scan Global Logistics to acquire OIA Global

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has signed an agreement to acquire OIA Global, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of end-to-end supply chain and logistics solutions. This transaction represents the largest investment in SGL’s history and is expected to place the company among the top 20 freight forwarders globally.

OIA Global, founded in 1988, employs over 1,200 people across more than 60 offices in over 30 countries. In 2025, the company reported a revenue of approximately 780 million USD. Its service portfolio includes air and ocean freight, customs brokerage, contract logistics, project logistics, 4PL services, packaging design, and materials management.

The acquisition aims to strengthen SGL’s presence in the United States and other strategic markets while expanding its service capabilities. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
