Scansano to resume school transport services on September 28

The municipality of Scansano has announced that school transport services on the Montorgiali – Pancole – Scansano – Pomonte route will resume on September 28. This follows a failed tender process in early August that left the service vacant.

Mayor Maria Bice Ginesi stated that after major providers, including Autolinee Toscane, were unable to fulfill the service, the administration secured a solution through local transport companies. Ginesi noted the difficulty of organizing essential services in peripheral areas and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to families during the transition.
