Scarborough, Maine Obituaries: Lorraine Genthner and Sally Lombard

Lorraine Kay Genthner, 85, died peacefully on July 27, 2026 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine. A lifelong Mainer, she worked in the office of Reece Corp in Gorham and was active in community sports. Her interests included skiing, snowmobiling, gardening and travel with her husband Dalton.

Sara “Sally” Cronk Lombard, 92, passed away at Holbrook Health Center at Piper Shores in Scarborough. Born in Portland, Oregon, she spent her youth in China, Hawaii, Europe and the United States, and later served as an Army wife accompanying her husband Lt. Reginald T. Lombard Jr. on multiple overseas postings. After retiring, the couple founded Lombard Antiquarian Maps and Prints, a business that sold historic maps and prints worldwide.
