ScenArte 2026 festival to return to Rome and Tiber Valley

The 31st edition of the ScenArte international festival is scheduled to return in August 2026, focusing on traditional, urban, and street theater. Directed by Emilio Genazzini and produced by Associazione La Capriola ETS – Abraxa Teatro, the event is supported by the Lazio Region.

The festival will be divided into two main phases. From August 19 to 24, itinerant performances will take place in the towns of the Tiber Valley, including Nazzano Romano, Torrita Tiberina, Mandela, Licenza, and Roccagiovine. The second phase will be held in Rome, with events at Teatro Marconi on August 25 and in the Giardino degli Aranci from August 26 to 30.

The 2026 program includes 11 theatrical shows, a national premiere, and various itinerant performances featuring live music and regional performers. Participating companies include Teatro Tascabile di Bergamo, TAC Teatro di Parigi, and several others, aiming to transform public spaces like squares and balconies into open-air stages.
