Scenic Eclipse II Luxury Mediterranean Cruise Launch and Malta Inauguration

Celebrity Xcel and the ultra‑luxury yacht Scenic Eclipse II marked their first calls to Valletta, Malta, with a joint plaque‑exchange ceremony at the Valletta Cruise Port. The event highlighted Scenic Eclipse II’s expedition capabilities, including a submersible, helicopters and advanced expedition technology, while Celebrity Xcel showcased its Magic Carpet floating platform and The Bazaar cultural space.

The same vessel, Scenic Eclipse II, is slated for a ten‑night Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona (23 Sept–3 Oct 2026). The itinerary visits Spain’s Catalan coast, France’s Côte d’Azur (Saint‑Tropez, Cannes, Marseille) and Menorca’s Mahón. Prices start at €7,650 per person for a Verandah Suite, with multiple suite categories and a range of inclusive services such as multiple dining venues, butler service, guided Zodiac excursions and wellness facilities.
