Schadenbach and Homberg focus on local community infrastructure

Local governance and community projects are being addressed in the regions of Homberg (Efze) and Schadenbach.

In Schadenbach, the newly formed local advisory board, led by chairman Jürgen Wilhelm, recently held its first meeting following its constitutional session. The board highlighted the completion of safety improvements at the grill hut forecourt, which addressed previous tripping and falling hazards. Other ongoing and planned initiatives include the development of the ‘Schadenbach-Info’ platform, the maintenance of village benches and rest areas, and the renovation of the community center following water damage. Future plans involve the creation of a hiking trail around Schadenbach and discussions regarding the 2027 budget.
